Heatherbrae acted as the General Contractor for the seismic replacement project at Henry Hudson Elementary School.
The project delivered a new three-storey concrete building with capacity for approximately 400 students. Levels one and two were dedicated to school programming, while level three was designed as a childcare facility and learning centre supporting before and after school care.
The project was completed in two phases, with the initial phase focused on constructing the new facility to minimize disruption and reduce impacts on students and school operations throughout construction. The project also targeted LEED® Gold certification.
